The SexSense Annual Event & Assembly 2027 brings together Active Members of the SexSense network for two days of collaboration, learning, and strategic dialogue.
Day 1 is dedicated to strengthening the network through partnership building, knowledge exchange, and strategic planning. Participants will explore European priorities and funding opportunities for Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), join Working Group meetings, and shape the network’s future through the General Assembly.
Day 2 – Growing up online: Navigating intimacy in the digital age, co-organised with PORN-TYPES, opens the conversation to educators, youth workers, researchers, policymakers, institutions, and young people. Through expert talks, interactive workshops, and international exchange, the programme explores how digital spaces shape relationships, sexuality, identity, and wellbeing. Discussions will focus on porn literacy, media literacy, online relationships, mental health, inclusion, and the role of CSE in supporting young people.
Key objectives
- Strengthen collaboration and partnerships across the SexSense network.
- Explore European priorities, funding opportunities, and governance for CSE.
- Examine how digital environments shape young people’s relationships, sexuality, and wellbeing.
- Share knowledge on porn literacy, media literacy, mental health, gender-based violence prevention, and inclusion.
- Advance advocacy for CSE through policy dialogue.
Participants
Participation to Day 1 is open to Active Members only.
As space is limited, we kindly ask each organisation to nominate one representative who is actively involved in strategic planning/networking to attend the event.
Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until space is filled.
Costs
The participation fee is €150 per attendee.
Lunch will be provided on both days and dinner on Day 1.
Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
