SexSense Annual Event & Assembly

The 2026 Annual Event & Assembly will bring together Active Members of the SexSense network for two dynamic days of networking, reflection, collaboration, and strategic action. Set against the backdrop of growing political and cultural resistance to gender equality and sexuality education, this year’s gathering will focus on reshaping narratives and reclaiming space for inclusive, evidence-based Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE).
Participants will engage in networking sessions, interactive workshops, and forward-looking discussions designed to co-develop impactful projects, strengthen the network’s collective voice, and sharpen advocacy strategies.
Key objectives:
- Reflect on the 2025 Activity Report, review the Bi-Annual Strategy 2026–2027, and plan Working Group activities.
- Facilitate the development of project proposals aligned with upcoming EU funding opportunities, and spark new collaborations among members.
- Share insights on policy trends, challenges, and opportunities in the current European CSE landscape to better align and amplify our joint efforts.
- Strengthen Members’ capacity to counter anti-gender rhetoric by co-creating powerful alternative narratives and developing inclusive messaging, strategic communication, and other tools.
Participants
Participation is open only to Active Members.
As space is limited, we kindly ask each organisation to nominate one representative who is actively involved in strategic planning/networking to attend the event.
Costs
The participation fee is €150 per attendee.
Lunch will be provided on both days by CESIE.
Participants are kindly reminded that they are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses, as well as the cost of the networking dinner on Day 1.
